Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Singapore

From November 25, 2010 to December 20, 2010 I was in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Singapore. At the moment only the pictures are to view on this website.

Russia

In the spring of 2010 I made a tour of Russia. This began in Moscow and then went to the Golden Ring. Then we went back to Moscow and we drove through Novgorod to St. Petersburg.

South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zambia

In 2009 I made a trip through southern Africa. This began in Cape Town and ended in Livingstone. Right now, only the pictures of South Africa and Botswana on the website.

New York, Costa Rica and Panama

In November 2008 I made a stopover in New York. After that I made a tour through Costa Rica and Panama. Currently, only the pictures of Costa Rica and Panama on this web site. The travelogue will be added later.

India and Nepal

From Saturday, November 3, 2007 until Friday, December 2, 2007 I made a tour of India and Nepal. This journey began in Delhi. This was followed by the state of Rajasthan where, in particular the many havelis and forts were on the program. In Uttar Pradesh was of course the Taj Mahal on the program and the city of Varanasi was particularly impressive. After this the trip went on to Nepal where first Chitwan National Park was scheduled. Here you have a chance to see tigers. The last two destinations of this trip are Pokera and Kathmandu.

Yemen

From Monday, April 23, 2007 until Saturday, May 12, 2007 I made a trip in Yemen. This journey began in the capital San'a. After this we traveled east to Ma'rib and Sayun and then south to the Gulf of Aden. Finally, we continued the journey west through Ta'izz end eventually we ended in San'a.

Kuala Lumpur and Indonesia

In October 2006 I made a stopover in Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. This metropolis is the home of some 1.8 million people. After that I made a tour of Indonesia. This began on the island of Sumatra and then went to the islands Java, Bali and Lombok.

South America

In 2004 I made a trip through South America. This journey began in Santiago de Chile and then went further north to the Atacama Desert. Through the Atacama Desert, we continued to Argentina and Paraguay. At the three borders of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil, we have seen the waterfalls of Iguaçu. After this we drove further to Curitiba and finaly to Rio de Janeiro. Currently, only the pictures of Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil are to view on this website.

Vietnam and Cambodia

In the spring of 2003 I made a trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. It began in Hanoi and Halong Bay. From Hue, we followed the coast southwards. In Cambodia we visited Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.

China and Hong Kong

In 2001 I made a tour through China. This trip started in Beijing and then went in the direction of Xi'an, Chengdu, Kunming and Guangzhou. From Guangzhou the trip went on to the former crown colony of Hong Kong, now a special administrative region of the People's Republic of China.
